Hi!
I’m Ian and I love making sounds.
I was born and raised near Seattle Washington, where I became a musician on an electric keyboard at my friend’s house when I was 11. The first piece I ever learned to play was the Gravity Falls theme song, and by the end of high school I was playing Chopin, Ghibli covers, and musical theater pieces.
Somewhere in the in-between, I discovered a love for writing my own music, which led me to study Music Composition at Carnegie Mellon University. There I learned classical composition as well as got involved in game development, also earning a minor in Game Design.
Shortly after, I attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where I received a master’s degree in Technology and Applied Composition.
